- Avoid direct sun exposure and solariums for 7 days prior
- Pause active ingredients such as retinol, AHAs and BHAs for 5 days
- Stay well hydrated in the days leading up to treatment
- Arrive with clean, fresh skin free of makeup and SPF
- Share any new medications, skincare or treatments with your clinician
- Reschedule if your skin is sunburnt, broken or compromised
After Your Session
- Apply broad spectrum SPF 50+ daily and reapply throughout the day
- Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 7 days post treatment
- Skip exfoliants, retinol and acid based products for 48 hours
- Keep your routine gentle, hydrating and barrier supporting
- Avoid hot showers, saunas and vigorous exercise for 24 hours
- Mineral makeup may be applied from 24 hours post treatment
